There are many more commandline options available, many of which have the ability to eliminate false-negative problems when testing for web application vulnerabilities. Use the source . . .

Yes, everything in RAM is accesible, including open (and probably recently-opened) documents. Ensuring that the firewire port ACLs are in place will block all access to all memory using Firewire.

Question: What about other data in memory? If someone has a Word doc or a website open with sensitive information, could this also be read from RAM via Firewire? Will disabling fast user switching and running the pmset command also protect other data in memory, or just the FVK/password?

mynmap - great stuff! just what I was looking for :)

On newer versions of mysql, "range" needs to be quoted. So the schema file becomes...

CREATE TABLE scheduler (
schedid int(10) unsigned NOT NULL auto_increment,
 `range` text NOT NULL,
 freq text NOT NULL,

same for mynmap.pl and schedule.php

Any chance I can also make a request? Any chance that the freshmeat page can be updated, and we get a direct link to the sf page from your blog? I had to search around a while and this would have helped.

If you have a Mac try Sente (google it) it might not be a freebee but its is heads and tales above Endnote which I spent a fortune on and was sorely disappointed! Sente was created for a Mac rather than a Endnote which was created for a PC and then adapted (poorly) for a Mac. Sente also has an IPAD app if that appeals to those who need portability. Thanks for the APA template! It was the only one on here that I could find!
